Me too please. I just added a bunch of door sensors and none of them are showing in the HA integration. They ARE showing in the Android app and the Tstat does show them as well.
Only one of my two my ecobees support HomeKit. If yours does, make sure to assign the door/windows sensors to that Ecobee. Then install the Homekit integration into HA. My door / window sensor populated right away. I have not tried the camera yet⌠I was googling that and ended up here. But my door/window sensor works great.
I canât use the HomeKit workaround because my Ecobee thermostat is old enough that it doesnât do HomeKit (just Alexa) so would love to see these directly in the Home Assistant integration. Currently just getting notifications through the Ecobee app, which isnât great because it keeps the door opened notification active even after a door closed notification for the same door.
I have an ecobee 3 lite, from maybe 9 years ago, and it was the cheapest ecobee back then⌠and my ecobee has HomeKit support. So⌠What is your ecobee model number exactly?
You might want to reach out to ecobee tech support, and see how to enable HomeKit.
Just did this with an ecobee 3 lite also. Added Homekit Device and add the thermostat. Just get the code from the thermostat and the thermo and door sensor should show up.
