Support for new Nest Temperature Sensor?

Just wondering whether support for the new Nest Temperature Sensors are in the pipeline. I picked up three of these at launch and would love to leverage them in my Home Assistant setup.

Anyone see if they can port this node app add on for Temperature sensors to HA

Interesting, I will look into it.

Edit: I looked, it used reversed engineered Nest mobile app’s endpoints. python-nest, the lib behind HA’s Nest component support, has moved away from this way long time ago, and I don’t want to go back to this route.

If you want to do that, just downloaded the nest-remote-sensor, and it will be run on your local machine, exposure an HTTP API, then you can add a HTTP Sensor to integration data into HA.

I personally would not support integrate the whole process into HA.
