Support for Sundirect Infrared heaters

As an owner of a Sundirect Infrared heater I want to control (on/off) the panel using home assistant so I have a single tool to control all my devices.

The panel has a mode where it is controlled by a thermostat. Link to the thermostat: https://sundirect.lv/en/product/smart1-0-wireless-thermostat-with-remote-control/
However I do not own the thermostat unit.
As a workaround I use a wall plug that I can turn off/on with HA to turn off/on the IR panel heater.

This would be good as Home Assistant could control desired temperature and on/off function…

I would also really like a direct integration. Voted!

In case anyone, like me stumbles on this post, I was able to use my SunDirect Smart Lighting PRO in HA via the Tuya integration.

What I did was, remove the device form the SunDirect app and then add it to the Tuya app. Then I followed the instructions for setting up the Tuya integration and the device showed up on HA. However, the device shows up only as a thermostat, allowing me to control the infrared heater but not the light.

I’ve done the same thing for Warmee floor heating devices.
