I am using the HomeKit integration for controlling my Velux covers, which works well.
In the Velux app, there is a switch for a “Silent operation” mode, which makes the covers move more slowly and quietly, and it would be useful if I could change it dynamically before opening/closing through HA.
Does anybody know if this option is even exposed to HomeKit and available for integration?
I could try some testing and modifications myself, but I don’t even know where to begin, so I’d appreciate some help or directions.

I guess no ever had an answer to this question. I have the exact same issue. My wife wants Silent Mode enabled but I see no way to do this. I sent an email to Velux but I doubt that will lead to anything.
For now I just ended up leaving it constantly on silent mode and dealing with the slowness, but it would be nice if it was possible to change quickly from HA.
