Support HAOS for VMware ESXi ARM

VMware has released ESXi for ARM a while ago. This makes it possible to run ESXi on a Raspberry Pi 4 (and meanwhile on other ARM devices too, the support for additional ARM devices is about to grow).

As already requested here multiple times by different users I would like to set the feature request to support HAOS for VMware ESXi ARM in the future.

Thank you!

Having HAOS OVA for ESXi for ARM is quite interesting, as it opens a new world of management for ARM Devices.
Having the possibility to run a Highly Available Cluster with Raspberry Pi and ESXi supports a cheap entry-level solution for Home Services, having the possibility to run multiple ARM systems such as Home Assistant, PiHole, NodeRed, and many others on a raspberry and have features such as snapshots, NAS storage, VM Backups, etc.

Some bootloader work has to be done on the current image to support UEFI boot (required by ESXi-ARM) and be able to boot HAOS on a VM.

@sergidelatorre Are you a HA dev? Do you have any news on this?
Thanks!

Edit: It’s possible now!

Remember HAOS aarch64 build is still in development state.

Have fun!
