Hello, is there any idea how to connect Hans Sasserath (SYR Lex Plus 10 connect) water softener into Home Assistant? The device has ip connection and is able to show water consumption and failure history in display, which I want to track with Home Assistant.
Hi. Have you found a solution for this yet?
I support this request, and want to extend it to the Safetech Connect (leakage prevention device) from the same manufacturer:
https://www.syr.de/en/Products/CB9D9A72-BC51-40CE-840E-73401981A519/SafeTech-Connect
Both devices use the SYR Connect web portal and SYR app.
The water softener provides a lot of useful data, such as salt storage left, the water hardness, the water pressure, and statistics concerning salt consumption.
The leakage control allows to shut the water valve via the app and provides info on water pressure, temperature and statistics on water consumption.
Any news on this one? Would be interested in a solution, too.
Same here. I have the Lex 10 water softener installed. Would be very interested to have its data implemented in Home Assistant.
Seems that there is not much to find in the www regarding any third party access to the SYR Connect portal.
Hello all,
I also have 2 devices from the Syr company in use, a Syr Safe-T - stand-alone - leakage protection, which also includes water flow rate and water outlet functions and a Lex 1500 Connect, LEX 10 single softener with further sensors as already described above. I would have already tried to get something into the HA via Websraper, but unfortunately it fails due to the captcha query of the web access. I have already written to Syr to ask whether they might offer an API or similar for HA in the future, which would also be a selling point for our clientele. Unfortunately I didn’t get an answer, but maybe it would help if everyone here made the same requests.
Still looking for a way to connect my water softener as well (Lex Plus 10 S). I just reached out to them as well using the following site to fine the right person:
Hi chstnj,
did you get any response?
I’m searching for a way to add my Lex Plus 10 to HA as well.

Unfortunately not. I’ve reached out to their Product Manager. Maybe if other people ask as well they might notice there is some interest.
I’m owning a SYR LEX Plus 10 S Connect device which I wanted to integrate into HA. As no solution was available I developed addon-syrlex2mqtt that simulates the SYR Connect Cloud and exposes the sensor values and configuration options via MQTT. The basic idea is to redirect the SYR softening unit to the HA server by using a fake DNS server.
Unfortunately it works only with certain firmware versions as the HTTPS connection between device and SYR Connect Cloud is secured via a certificate. Older firmware versions accept a fake certificate I generated for syrlex2mqtt while newer ones seem to be more strict.
If anyone is experimenting with syrlex2mqtt, please give feedback what device and what firmware you have.
Also owning a SYR LEX Plus 10 S Connect with a DRUFI+ and looking for a Solution.
Thanks
Hi, thanks for your efforts. Good to see that a solution for this softener was developed. I tried today setup with installed firmware SLPS.2.3 on my LEXplus10s. Maybe I did something wrong. Could you upload a log file of a running system?
