Switch sense solution for Cartell magnetic driveway sensor (two wire dry relay contact)

I’m relatively new to Home Assistant but absolutely loving it - I have integrated my house Lutron RadioRA system, Honeywell Security system, Sonos, AppleTVs, UniFi Protect …. It’s a dream solution that has me finally almost ready to rip out a pre-installed Elan home integration system in my home… but I’m missing one final item to get me over the hump - my magnetic driveway sensor!

There is a Cartell CT-2B magnetic sensor that has a two wire floating dry relay contact that I could connect to… but I’m at a bit of a loss as to what the easiest / best way to integrate into HASS. I have been reading about Shelly and ESPHome and other solutions but they all feel like a bit of overkill for this two wire switch.

My goal is no more complicated than having a sensor device in HA that I can do things like play sounds / turn on driveway lights, etc when a car comes into the driveway.

There are some posts on here about integration using other devices like gates, etc… but all seem to be a bit of a bazooka for a flyswatter solution.

Any recommandations?

Can also try using a camera and frigate if possible for vehicle detection.

Thanks so much for the response. Unfortunately a camera isn’t a viable option here - the driveway is long and twisty thru woods. The magnetic sensor is at the bottom of the driveway and unfortunately is really the only way to tell if someone pulls in.
