Switch turns off/on ALL Zigbee devices 🤨

Hello fellow smart home dwellers,

I have the weirdest problem with Zigbee and ZHA. I recently bought a Lightify Switch Mini and connected it via the SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus.

Now, without setting up ANY automations, the up button on the switch turns ALL Zigbee devices on and the down button turns all of them off.

What is happening here? :sweat_smile:

I could not find any way to prevent this. HA logs are only showing “OSRAM Lightify Switch Mini Move To Color Temp event was fired”. But there are no automations set up to act on this event.

Update: Apparently the switch sends broadcast messages:

There is currently no solution for ZHA. zigbee2mqtt has fixed it, supposedly:
OSRAM issues with Broadcast Messages and all lights ¡ Issue #962 ¡ Koenkk/zigbee2mqtt (github.com)

I’ve got this exact problem! Same switch seemingly too, but I have a few of them without the issue

I’m using ZigBee2MQTT and HAVE the issue

I just noticed as I managed to turn off everything somehow
It doesn’t even seem to get logged in Home Assistant so I don’t think it’s related to the controller at all

Does anyone know how to fix this?

My solution was to bin the switches… tried everything but gave up
