Switchbot Bluetooth Water Leak detector

From what I can see the leak sensor is connected with good signal to the hub (they are like 2 meters apart in the same room) and the hub has a good WiFi signal.
So wouldn’t that be able to work? Also because the Hub can be configured to never power down, thus it is always connected to the cloud.

Sounds correct. Then it’s just the Switchbot Cloud integration, that is missing the Leak Detector. That’s a separate integration from the BLE-Integration I’ve been working on.

Not sure if you’re aware but Switchbot just announced this

Apparently support for the leak sensor over BT is coming next month. But I’ve been using the leak sensors in the Switchbot BT integration since January thanks to you.

Not that I expect you to be aware of what this actually means but I just thought I’d bring it up anyways.

Looks like Switchbot is well aware, wich people use their products. Perhaps they can improve on this integration and support more features - especially with the more complex devices… the leak detector is quite simple after all…
