Switchbot Indoor Camera showing up as Tuya device?

I bought some Switchbot equipment on Black Friday and they threw in a free Indoor Camera. I finally got around to setting it up today and it works fine in the Switchbot app, but it unexpectedly also showed up in HA as a Tuya device (at least, I assume it’s the camera as I haven’t added any other hardware today). This is my first camera and I have no other Tuya devices in the house, so I’m not sure what I should do here. Anybody else ever seen this behavior before? Any thoughts on whether I could get this camera working through the Tuya integration? Thanks!

The Camera is probably based on Tuya firmware.
Which one to use?
Pick the one that works the best or does what you want. One or the other, doesn’t matter most likely. click ignore on the one you don’t want to use. You might find a HomeKit knows what it is as well. It’s a good problem to have.

Thanks for the reply but I’m afraid that while the Switchbot app sees the camera fine, neither of the Switchbot integrations in HA see it at all. Only the Tuya integration does, but it requires a “Tuya IoT Access ID” and “Tuya IoT Access Secret”. The Tuya integration doco says the device must be added to the Tuya app, the user must have a Tuya user account and a Tuya IoT developer account, and must set up a cloud dev project to be able to get the above ID and Secret. I was just wondering if anyone else had run into this before and tried configuring it. I guess the answer is no! I’ll play around and see if anything works.

So I gave it a try and the Switchbot Indoor Camera is seen by the Tuya Smart app and can be paired as if it were a Tuya Smart Camera (Wi-Fi). From there you can follow the standard instructions for setting up camera access via the Tuya integration in HA. Seems to work fine, though it is cloud-based, of course.

Thank you!! I got this camera for free and it works with tuya with using the hub!

Would it be possible to run Tuya Convert on it? Did anyone tried?
