Switched to docker from hassio on rp3.....No state history or logbook

Solved

I switched from hassio on rp3 to a docker on unraid. I am unable to get any state history. the dB looks to be updating regularly and shows current time and date so not sure what’s going on.
logbook and history is enabled as always. no state history or info in the logbook available. It was working fine when I was using hassbian and the then later hassio.

I turned on debug but no errors are showing. It just says component loaded. I then deleted the current db file and restart to let HA rebuild it but still no change. Any ideas? Im using the offical docker repo.

How long has the new system been running?

about 2 days now, but technically shouldn’t it be recording by the second or minute?

Yes, but it may need some time to generate enough history to report history (if that makes sense).

But yeah I would have thought two days was sufficient.

Anything in the logs?

Yeah would think that enough time too. I enabled debug but there doesnt look to be any errors. History, and logbook both say components started and nothing else.so not sure whats going on.

I heard using MariaDB is faster and possibly more reliable so I was thinking about trying that but have no idea what im doing. All I did was grab the docker. Still would be nice to figure out what this issue is.

wow I juust figured it out. Somehow my Unraid system was set a day behind so it caused nothing to show in states but I had stuff populate from the day before. Corrected the date/time, restarted unraid and everything is working again
