Switching from ZHA to Zigbee2Mqtt

Hi,
I’m currently using HomeAssistant Blue with a ConBee2 dongle for Zigbee access.
It’s all configured with ZHA.
However, not all devices are supported by ZHA and it seems that Zigbee2Mqtt supports more (eg. the Paulmann Gent remote).
So I’m tempted testing the other Zigbee integration.
However, I’d like to avoid repairing all the devices.
And I would like to have a simple backup plan. Is it sufficient to backup config and restore it if needed ?
Thanks in advance for your good advices.

I would pick up a second stick for testing z2m and keep ZHA intact. The saved hassle and headache is easily worth a $20 investment.

There is not a supported backup/restore method to keep the zigbee net intact when moving from zha to z2m. Anything you want to test under z2m will need to be re-paired.

For z2m, a TI Cc2652 stick is the best choice.
