Switching to first view every time

Hi

I have this slightly annoying issue where the view on my dashboard switches to the first one (left most) every time I bring the ha android app from the task switcher.

I know the app is not being killed by the android battery management, because I can see the correct view from the task switcher preview, and I actually see it change as soon as I open ha.

I searched for this issue around here and on github and no luck.

This does not happen in the ios app, with the same dashboard and views.

Anyone noticed this? Just asking before I open an issue.

did you by chance enable: Settings > companion app > Always show first view on app start ?

Wow, you got it. I don’t remember going to those companion app settings. If I did touch that, must have been years ago.

Then the difference in behaviour between android and ios was throwing me off.

Anyway, thanks for the quick fix!
