At the moment, those connecting their Switchmate devices to Home Assistant cannot view the battery level of their switch. It would be a great feature upgrade to include a sensor in association with or in addition to the Switchmate entity.
This would be a great addition, I can see the battery level using homebridge, so it should also be possible in homeassistant.
