I also have 20 SYLVANIA SMART+ Zigbee light strips, also LEDVANCE
My challenge is how to reliably connect them to my HA setup. I have tried the following controllers:
Smartthings V2 Hub
Conbee II DeConz
Tubes ZB
I have tried having them all on the same Zigbee Controller, but the reliability is not there, I get bulbs coming on and off and some do not respond. I have tried splitting my ZIgbee network up between 2 and then later 3 controllers on different zigbee channels 15, 20, 24 etc…
I’m spending a ton of time trying to make this work. Does anyone have any experience with a large setup of Zigbee LEDVANCE lights? I have no other zigbee devices only lights.
I don’t think that any of those devices are repeaters. The conbee can reliably handle about 25 direct connections. And if they are repeaters each of those devices can connect to another 25 or so. A good cheap repeater is https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01M6UM8QD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_SS6YV642GZNA87M1MEMJ
If you connect 5 or so directly to the conbee and then connect the bulbs to repeaters you should be okay.
When you look at the bulbs page in ZHA are they listed as routers? I have other sylvania bulbs mostly a19s and couple led strips all of which show up as routers in zha… Also I would go back to one controller connect them all again and take a look at the network visualization page… and if you can deal with it maybe try killing your WiFi for a few hours or however long you would need to see if you get any better results… or at least make sure your WiFi is on a non Zigbee overlapping channel… a quick google will give you a chart
also as others mentioned throwing a few repeaters/Zigbee outlets maybe helpful but we also don’t know a ton about your setup…
How big is your house?
Where is your usb stick relative to your bulbs?
What type of construction are the walls in your house…
And again I would be Interested to see the network visualization with all of the bulbs on one controller…
my house is 2700 SQ ftt, 5400 including the garages. All single story.
I have three zigbee networks right now, and each coordinator is in the center of its network area. One controller is on channel 15, then one on 20, and one on 25 to avoid wifi interference
My walls are drywall and lumber framing, some insulation, and some walls are sheer walls with plywood
