Sync backup or config folder with help of Syncthing

I found the syncthing addon made by bestlibre (https://github.com/bestlibre/hassio-addons) and thought it would be great for synchronizing the backup or config folder towards another instance.

And although I get the syncthing addon up and running, I have no clue how to configure the appropriate folders.
First of all the addon description mentions that “Synchronized folders can be put inside /data or /share.”, but I have not even a clue how to address these folders within the syncthing config.

I guess what I ultimately need is an example on how to define syncthing folders in case the wanted folders are within a (hassio) docker image.

Has anybody something like this running and could shed some light on the configuration?

I would also like to set this up, but am not sure how to configure this either. Anyone have an example?

I have missed the first demand. Sorry about the delay !

With the current version it is not possible to sync config and backup. I will modify the addon to allow access to these folders. When it is done, you will need to create a new folder (from the webui) and use either /config, /backup or {/share/folder_to_sync` as folder path.

I will update the doc when I will push the new version.
