Is HA installed on synology?
Need to look at synology error logs to see why synology crash.
HI, no the HA is installed on a INTEL NUC.
mhh, in the log is no error with synology
No.
HA login to synology to get data
If synology not ON Ha receive no data
When.synology off, HA may show some state for synology that indicate the failed connection. Maybe you can use this to notify when.synology OFF
yes, how can do it? how can say: dont take states, if the NAS is offline
I don’t think it possible to temporarily turn off integrations.
You may use nap integration to know if synology on/off, but not sure how you may make change to synology sensor
I think with condition !?!
here the error:
WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.synology_dsm] async_update - connection error during update, fallback by reloading the entry
After i restart the NAS, all works fine with the HA.
Here the synology protocol:
OVER 11200 Times / Connect in 2 Hours. The synology has all the time 100% CPU and going in overload…
The 192.168.178.93 is the Intel NUC => Home Assistant
What can i do?? Thanks for help
What device has ip 192.168.178.93?
Is that HA server?
If HA is 192.168.178.93.
Please check the warning message on HA Website for Synology DSM sensor. (I think this is what you using correct?) Make sure the scan interval is not too short and uncheck the Surveillance Station if using.
Yes, the 192.168.178.93 is the HA System.
Yes i use the DSM sensor.
thanks i give you feedback
here the Warning:
WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.synology_dsm] async_update - connection error during update, fallback by reloading the entry
the HA and Synology is crash. Synology have CPU 100% all the time.
i go in the Portainer and restart the “homeassistant” Container.
I expect synology integration(DSM) login to get the sensor data you desire
If you go it integrations configuration page there should be way to change the wait time between update the data. Try setting it to long period like 10minutes.
You may also turn OFF the synology integration to verify it is cause if crash
I think I answer this in above reply but just in case, it reconnects because the connection is not maintained. It only connect when retrieve the data(I believe).
the Update Setting are at 15 Minutes.
You change to 15 or it was always 15?
Delete the integration and see iflig messages and crash go away?
If go away maybe set it to one hour and see how it affect.
yes i do it 2-3 times.
You do what?
Did you identify integration as cause?
Did you verify changing for update setting and not see change?
If you do all the above maybe you need report this as github ticket to developer.
Also, what version ha you using?
I already had the settings on 10 minutes and now on 15 minutes.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the extension.
The last Version. core-2021.1.5
