Synology Docker Sonoff Zigbee USB Setup

Hi,

I have HA running on a Docker in my Synology NAS and I just purchased the Sonoff Zigbee USB dongle. Unfortunately I have no idea how to get this running. It seems somehow I need to find my USB path, but I am really having problems finding out how to get it working. Has anybody else with this setup gotten it properly configured?

I have the same problem! Would be nice if someone has a solution…

Hi,
I’m 1 day into my journey with Home Assistant and 1 week into my journey with Synology NAS … or any NAS! I’ve bought and setup a DS920+; I’ve installed HA using Container Manager and now have a Sonoff Zigbee Dongle. I thought I was doing … okay. But the dongle is not being recognised by the NAS , let alone mapping to the container. And so much searching lead me to this page … which is terrifying! HA was meant to be easy!

Before heading down this dark rabbit hole, just want confirmation this is still the only way forward. (I using DS 7.2.2. ) I don’t understand how a recommended / standard setup would hit such a massive obstacle! (Maybe I should have just bought a Pi.)

Yours, dumbfounded
Bryan
