Synology DS218+ Container Manager Install to VMM Question

I’ve been running HomeAssistant in Docker since 2019, (now container manager) in DSM 7.2.

I’ve been thinking of moving my HomeAssistant to VMM inside synology, how can I migrate all my settings from Docker to the new install?

Is it pretty easy as drag and drop all the files in the docker directory to the new directory in VMM?

  1. Create a full backup
  2. Export the file
  3. Shut down current HA instance
  4. Install new HA
  5. On initial setup choose restore and select your backup
