Hi there,
I’ve converted my self from Domoticz to HA for about 1 year. I won’t explain the reason as it’s not the purpose here.
When I started, I was running HA on a raspberry Pi 3B with Hass.io. I’m using some classical add-on, specialy MQTT, ZigBee and RFX.
I’ve wathed recently a video from the Swissmen with Dutch accent on how to install a SSD drive on a Raspberry Pi 4 to boot and run on the SSD Drive ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gp6XW-fGVjo&t=426s) and he also publish a video on how to run HA with add-on in a docker stack (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJRMjUzlHI8&t=450s&ab_channel=AndreasSpiess).
All is fine but I’m requesting here some discussion about the best way to install HA and to get your feedback.
For example should it be :
- Hass.io and all add-on inside ?
- Docker with a stack for HA like previous video mention ?
- a Pi with HA, a Pi with Zigbee, a Pi with Node-Red ?
- Other options ?
Please feel free to comment and share your experiences with the wonderfull world of HA !
