Tablet as media player

Good day.

I intend to use the Android tablet as a common central device for all family members. To access heating control, weather forecasting and control of other automations. I would also like to add an internet radio player to the card. I don’t have any other players to connect to Homeassistant yet.
Can you recommend an Internet radio player that can work with Homeassistant and Android tablets?

I have found this option so far, but the installation procedure is not entirely clear to me.

Have you tried browser_mod? I’ve tried and it seems to work fairly well. A little clunky sometimes because as soon as a new browser hits the page you have a new set of devices so I find it best to only enable the ones I want.

Some are also using LANnouncer but I haven’t tried that myself.

I’d be interested if you’ve come across any others.
