TAPO C200 camera

Bought a C200 camera and for over one week and still I can not connect it to my mobile. Why is it so extremely difficult to get this camera going.

Are you trying to view the camera directly on your mobile or through your Home Assistant installation?
If it is directly then you probably need to find a TP-link forum for help.
If it is through your Home Assistant installation, then we need a bit more info to help you, like what type of installation and what integration are you using and how did you try to configure the integration.

Search in HACS for Tapo Cameras Control.

  1. First you have to get the camera app installed on your phone to get it activated. Tapo is the official app that you have to look for. You need to register with your email/phone number to activate the camera via the app. If you have already done this move to next step.
  2. Create a local account on your camera via the Tapo app that will help you with local integration in HA.
  3. As mentioned above by Francis, get the HACS installed and proceed further. This Link can help. You can use the local account created above step to get the camera added.
