Tasmota flashed Treatlife 3-way switch bricks when connecting to network

Not sure where to ask this, or how to query it so I will ask here.

I have a treatlife 3-way switch. It came in a four pack that I purchased a long time ago before I stopped buying treatlife because they tried to block us. I have been flashing them using tuya-convert OTA to tasmota-lite. For the first two I install them, then flash them to ESPHome. This works and they are still in place and working.

Third one is installed and it is working as a three way switch. Next I install Tasmota-lite, and it is working. Then I connect to the device set it to my home’s iot network, it reboots and then it is bricked. I take the 4th and final switch, flash it on my workbench to tasmota-lite and connect to my network. I wire it up the same way and it never comes up and is bricked.

I am thinking I will flash them with esphome directly on the chip and see if I can unbrick them, but I am also unsure of how this could happen. So before I throw away any more money at this I figured I would ask for your input while I try flashing these to esphome.
