Tasmota Hass IR remote

Hi everyone, since I have many devices at home that work with IR signals and I didn’t want to add everything manually, I made (well, not me, but a AI) a Hass integration for Tasmota IR that works via MQTT: GitHub - Lexasvo/IR-Remote-Editor: IR Remote Editor - Virtual IR remotes for Home Assistant · GitHub
I made it for myself, thought it might be useful for someone else. My devices work with it without any issues. The only thing I haven’t tested is an air conditioner, since it’s still cold.

I couldn’t find a ready-made integration, maybe I just didn’t search well enough.**

The April 2026 release of HomeAssistant has some love thrown towards IR. Has your search got as far as reading the exciting release notes, and the blog and discussion here in these forums?

Hello, I saw the changes, but my programming knowledge is not the best part of my life. I tried implementing it via ESPHome, but it doesn’t handle the raw format very well. I ran into issues where my equipment wouldn’t recognize the signals or would duplicate them multiple times. I apologize if I misunderstood something from the official announcement — I don’t know English very well and am communicating through a translator. Thank you for your response. If you have your own solution for this, please implement it and add it to the forum. I hope it will still be useful to someone.
