Having problems since latest update. My mqtt tasmota devises not conecting. I see in console that the devices are trying to connect but cant. In supervisor i get “Failed to get supervisor logs, Error in input stream” i also see “[supervisor.services.modules.mqtt] There is already a MQTT service in use from core_mosquitto”. under mqtt integrations i see " Integration entries No devices or entities" not connecting to existing entities. I am at a loss. I am using the odroid blue on a opnsense router.
Any help understanding what is going on would be greatly appreciated
Sorry I can’t help you Mike, I’ve got the same problem since updating last week. Will let you know if I find out what’s caused it.
Yes sorry, found the problem. under - setting - network - configure network interface - my netmask address was 255.255.255.255 but should be 255.255.255.0. Changing this stopped my router blocking my connection and all tasmota devices reconnected to the mqtt server. Happy I’m back up. Thanks to viragomann at opnsence forums who helped me.
Hi Mike,
Thanks for posting this but my issue was different. I rediscovered the Tasmota devices as they were missing. They didn’t come back online so I went to restart the MQTT service but it wasn’t started so started it and then the devices came back online and all is working. I’m sure it was the rediscovery that was needed as I’d restarted the system several times without success. I did run several updates before the problem showed up.
