Tasmota with Detached Switches

I use a Shelly 1 with Tasmota Firmware and have it setup in “detached mode”, this means the relais is always on and pressing the switch sends a message over mqtt instead of switching the relais. I need this because I have smart lights that I want to control with alexa as well as with the switch.

Using the Tasmota Integration in Home Assistant I can see the device and control the relais with the switch.tasmota entity, however I don’t want to control the relais at all, I wan’t to use the shelly as as sensor that can trigger an automation.

Is this even possible with the tasmota integration and if what do I need to configure?

You made it detached with SetOption114 1? Then you should have a binary sensor in Home Assistant and you can disable the switch entity if you want. (Or just not use it.)
