Teckin SP10

I just added a Teckin SP 10 wifi plug thru their app then checked HA and it had found a new Tuya integration (coincidently?). I have no idea how to fill out the info it is asking for. A google search turns up nothing. Any ideas?

The Teckin SP10 runs the Tuya firmware by default. You can see the integration instructions here for how to set up the standard Tuya Integration, Or, if you prefer local control, you can find the Local Tuya custom component in HACS.

One other option is to flash Tasmota or ESPHome onto the plug. That was the option I chose when I was using them, but I have since switched out most of them for Zigbee plugs.

Older versions of the SP10 contained ESP chips able to be wirelessly flashed by Tuya Convert over WiFi. Sadly, firmware 1.0.3 patched the exploited PSK vulnerability. Don’t update your devices if you are still using Tuya firmware 1.0.1 or 1.0.2!

Newer versions of the SP10 appear to contain Realtek chipsets. Unfortunately, Tuya Cloudcutter does not work on Realtek chipsets.

Local Tuya is the best non-cloud solution at present.
