I’ve enabled Telegram notifications for my laundry room, but now that I am done I’ve added the bot chat to my wife’s smartphone (aka different Telegram account).
How comes that (Telegram) notifications are not being sent to my devices (smartphone, computer, etc.) only?
Am I missing anything here?? 
So you have two telegram accounts talking to your bot and you have added both chat ids in the config?
Have you sent a message from your wifes phone to the bot? Telegram requires you to instigate the chat before a bot can send to an account
I actually didn’t notice this part when it was the turn of sending BOT’s messages to my wife’s phone. 
Changing the chat_id to her one solved the problem!
