TellStick addon deprecated

I’m quite certain this is the cause. I’ve removed my images and republished them and it seems that the amd64 had overridden the aarch64 one now, so it should work fine for amd64.

It seems to be something related to this: Switch to multi-arch build and images · Issue #223 · home-assistant/builder · GitHub

If someone wants to investigate, please do.

Thank you very much for your efforts. Has anything changed in the fork over the last two days? If not, the current status is that it does not yet work with amd64. Or have I misunderstood something?

I have just repushed the images, and it seems that the amd64 image is now the latest image to be pushed so it’s the active image.

Thank you very much. Quick question for everyone: since this evening, I am no longer receiving notifications from Home Assistant that the add-on has been removed from the repository. Until now, confirming this notification meant that the add-on was removed. Am I the only one who has noticed this?

HA Core 2025.12.4

EDIT: The Message is back, i am going to retry this repo and let you know the outcome asap.

I am happy to report that everything is working fine. The service can be started and the devices can be controlled.
@michaelarnauts Thank you very much for helping us out!!! :clap::clap::clap:

Working for me too, thanks a lot!

When I try to start the addon, I also get this error:

exec /init: exec format error

This is my setup:

[core-ssh ~]$ ha hardware info | grep Telldus
    ID_SERIAL: Telldus_TellStick_Duo_AE01DHAN
    ID_USB_SERIAL: Telldus_TellStick_Duo_AE01DHAN
    ID_USB_VENDOR: Telldus
    ID_USB_VENDOR_ENC: Telldus
    ID_VENDOR: Telldus
    ID_VENDOR_ENC: Telldus

[core-ssh ~]$ uname -a
    Linux core-ssh 6.6.74-haos-raspi #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Apr 14 16:32:39 UTC 2025 aarch64 Linux

[core-ssh ~]$ cat /etc/os-release
    NAME="Alpine Linux"
    ID=alpine
    VERSION_ID=3.19.6
    PRETTY_NAME="Alpine Linux v3.19"
    HOME_URL="https://alpinelinux.org/"
    BUG_REPORT_URL="https://gitlab.alpinelinux.org/alpine/aports/-/issues"

I run HASS OS on a RPI4

Correct, as indicated above, I have uploaded the amd64 version. I don’t know how to get both the amd64 and aarch64 version on dockerhub and not overwrite the other file.

Would you happen to know, does this also work with the older Telldus Tellstick? How about the Telldus Net with the cloud integration?

Any hope/way of hosting the arm version?

Made a local Add-on build and it runs but the Tellstick almost immediately disconnects from the USB. any clue as to why?

hello newbie here. I have tellstick I have loads of units in use for years and worried I may loose it all, (its why I started using HA). I am not dumb but ignorant! How do I use this addon to save my tellstick. Please point me in the right direction, many thanks.
