Temp/Humidity Sensor for electric clothes dryer

I recently set up a d1 mini with esphome and a CT clamp to monitor when the dryer is running and when it finishes. Since there’s a whole bunch of GPIO pins sitting there doing nothing, I’ve thought about adding a temperature and humidity sensor to monitor the output of the dryer, to maybe tell if the clothes are dry before the cycle ends.

Are there any particular models of sensors that would be recommended for this wet/hot/linty environment?

Thanks,
Steve

That is going to be a harsh environment for any humidity sensor. Maybe an SHT31D if installed after the lint filter?

Temperature would be ok with one of the Dallas DS18B20 1-wire sensors. The ones in waterproof metal probe housings would be best.
