New to HA as of last month or two and learning quickly. Now moved 36 Tuya devices off the cloud and into Tuyalocal. Having issues with the cheap battery operated Tuya Temperature Humidity Sensors from AliExpress.
They work perfectly in the cloud based environment. I am aware now Tuyalocal doesn’t fully support battery sensors due to the sleep, wake, transmit, sleep action. However, I have got one of the sensors installed but not fully configured. Here I need some help.
It shows up, see image below. It also transmits temp and humidity as per the graph. Unfortunately I cannot see it and use it any automations.
Anyone help me out here with the code to complete this.

Thought I’d piggy back on this one to ask if you ever was able to resolve this?
I inherited a bunch of these devices and wanted to try and use them in the same way albeit getting around the battery life by soldering in some usb power to the battery contacts. I am aware of the inherent incompatibility of the devices with the local integrations.
I was able to successfully integrate the device in however, I’ve encountered the same issues as you. HA perceives the device as unavailable during a sizeable period where the device is asleep. I’ve reset the devices to Sync mode “Frequent Mode” and Sample period as “1 min” but it’s still showing regular intervals as being “unavailable”.
