Having various cheap and cheerful sensors that happen to have a temperature sensor it would be nice to be able to adjust these at the device/entity level to calibrate correctly.
For example I have a temp sensor outside that is pretty bang on accurate but a sensor inside a motion sensor that is usually 6° degrees higher.
It would be great in the gui entity to set a -6 to calibrate it back to accurate.
I agree that a gui function for this would be useful. In the meantime, some devices have such an ability built in. And if they don’t, you can create a template sensor which does the correction.
