Temperature sensor - polling frequency issue

Hi,

I have a sonoff SNBZ-02P connected to a Sonoff Zigbee bridge flashed with ZBBridge. I’ve noticed that temperature updates are hit-and-miss - sometimes every few minutes sometime 30 min appart - this isn’t much good for my home heating system.

I’ve read up on the ZBBridge and there is no way to increase the polling frequency, so I think the only way is to replace the sensor with a different kind (non Zigbee) unless anyone can help?

The sensor is sonoff SNBZ-02P
The hub is Sonoff Zigbee bridge flashed with ZBBridge version 12.3.1.1(zbbrdgpro)
The sensor has a new battery
The distance between the sensor and hub is 2m through a brick wall (the whole house is brick )

If I am unable to fix this issue, can anyone recommed another some battery powered temperature sensor?
Regards
James

These devices are push, not polled. To conserve battery power device like this often only report a value when there has been a significant change. The device may expose a delta setting you can adjust, but probably not.

Here’s the history of one of my Aqara temperature sensors:
