Got simple AC unit controlled by IR remote, need to identify in which state AC is, to make template switches for generic thermostat
AC electricity meter, left side is cooling where consumption cycles from 20w to 500-600w, right side is heating where consumption cycles from 20w to 800-900w
When AC is “on” and “idle”, it is at 20w on both “heating” and “cooling” so I have no idea how to template two switches to identify if it is in “heat” or “cool” mode
Though making “trend sensor” for room temperature but it will take long time to update
How do you make cooling and heating “template switches” for two “generic thermostats”? any ideas appreciated
