Terminal command line not responding

Hi folks. A stumble out of the gate moment, probably super simple but I can’t figure it out. I’ve just installed the Terminal & SSH add-on, and when putting in my first command I fat-fingered it and made a typo. I can’t seem to backspace, escape, hit return, or really do anything, so now I’ve got a half-finished command just sitting there. I’ve tried restarting HA, but the line is still there. Any suggestions?

Cancel that request. I wasn’t able to edit or escape out of my prompts in the terminal on my Mac, but I could on my iPad. Not sure what was going on with my Mac, but the job got done.
