The Tesla Powerwall integration stopped working a few days ago. I didn’t see discussion of it here (sorry if I missed it) but I’ve seen something about it elsewhere.
For me, it seems that the password (last 5 of the serial number) no longer works. When I try to connect using the web interface (connecting to the powerwall wifi), I’m told the the default password is no longer supported. There is an option to change the password but that doesn’t work. I called Tesla support and was basically told that they were phasing out use of the default password and that the web interface was going away. In other words, I was told I’m SOL.
I guess that maybe the integration may be fine, but my powerwall simply doesn’t allow me to connect anymore.
Anyone else encounter this? Any solutions?
Mine is still working fine. Tesla Powerwall 2
Mine is not working any more either, despite the Tesla Custom Integration, the Tesla iPhone app and the windows 10 Powerwall Companion all still working.
Can’t connect to it via the IP with a last five characters as suggested.
Mine has also stopped working about a week ago.
Going to the IP in a browser gives me a message:
Switch to Tesla One for a better commissioning experience
The current experience is no longer supported
Yeah, I think the direct login from a browser is being phased out. If it’s still working for someone, I think it just means their system hasn’t been updated with this change yet.
