Test and development machine

I would like to be able to experiment with dashboards. I have a second machine running the Home Assistant OS.

My plan was to test things and then create a backup from my “test” machine and restore it to my “production” machine. Of course, the two machines have different IP addresses, so there are some issues with things like Web Sockets for Shelly devices.

What is the best way to set up and use a test machine?

I don’t have any problems running both a production and test machine, but all my Shellies are flashed with Tasmota.
