Test for open doors & windows when setting alarm

How can I test for open windows and doors when setting alarm?

I only have the Alarm Panel on Lovelace on a tablet, our phones and Google Homes, no alarm company keypads etc

I’d like to know if a door or window is open while setting the alarm and which one.

What is the best way to receive that notification and what would an automation look like test for open sensors?

the easiest way is by opening a window and/or a door.
