Testing new open zwave addon

Tried doing the following to test the new open zwave addon.

  1. stopped my old zwave integration
  2. install open zwave addon from supervisor
  3. configured per instrx
  4. network started just fine and shows one dimmer switch I added.
  5. Added open zwave integration

Nothing shows up under devices. not sure what other steps I’m missing. Instrx are not very clear and there’s so many versions of it.

Can someone assist?

You have the MQTT addon installed as well? Do the devices show up under Config > Integrations > Open ZWave? You can launch the OZW Admin tool (either through the integrated VNC or from your own computer) and see the status of the network and the devices, or if you’re handy with MQTT you can use a MQTT Explorer tool to see the messages flowing through. Maybe restarting your Home Assistant (just HA, not the device/Supervisor) already helps? Make sure your old Z-Wave network doesn’t automatically start so it doesn’t interfere with the running OZW.
