How can I setup a script to play some tts using tts.speak. Currently, it won’t play anything on my mac, but if I go to the Voice Assistant page and click the “Try Voice” link and type in whatever I want it works. How can I mimic this functionality in a script?
You would need to set up up your Mac as a media player.
The “Try Voice” is using your web browser as a media player, however this is not available as an entity.
I have no idea what media player integrations are available for the Mac. Search here: Integrations - Home Assistant
You may possibly need to install some sort of DLNA client on your Mac.
