Hello everybody!
Just wanted to drop a quick thank you to each and every one of you for the work you put into Home Assistant, both the developers and the community that supports all of us implementing it.
I broke my leg coming down off the roof after installing Christmas Lights (yes, I have an automation to control them!) and being able to do so much through HA has been an awesome payoff for all the work I put into setting everything up.
So, when you doubt yourself and wonder what the practical benefit of HA might be, beyond some nifty party tricks… just think about how much easier life will be when you’re laid up with a broken leg.
THANK YOU!
