The addon is called Whisper, but I have to yell for it to work?

I’m using the m5stack Atom Echo microphones.

Tried with both Whisper and the Cloud voice assistant.

Can these be somehow tweaked so I don’t have to yell every time?

You used the code supplied for ESPHome to program your m5stack ?

You can try noise_suppression_level, auto_gain and volume_multiplier.
However, M5stack Atom Echo is not designed to record voice from distance.

@sayanova Sometimes I have to literally get into the microphone for it to register me. Though one small correction, I think my issue lies within OpenWakeWord, and not necessarily Whisper.
