Since we have the R back in the month, it’s time to think about automations for the upcoming seasonal changes. Leaves are starting to brown, and the days seem to last shorter.
Personally I really like the autumn/winter, so I always enjoy the change.
This year I decided to start a topic, and see what we can do to improve our shorter days (on the northern hemisphere).
Some of the things i’m going to automate/improve:
- New DIY Christmas tree lights (twinkley like)
- Dynamically turn on lights upon arrival (now it’s just on, I’d like to set brightness etc.)
- Configure outdoor lighting (when we have them)
- Improve heating schema
- Some holiday specific automations
