So this might be a simple question, but i can’t find it.
In the upcoming 2022.10 update the nest YAML config is being removed.
The repair says that my existing credentials is imported in the UI.
Were can i find this?. I want to check it before i remove the YAML code from my configuration.yaml.
The credentials are hidden, otherwise that wouldn’t be very secure. You can safely remove the yaml without repercussion.
EDIT: Unless this integration behaves differently than others. I’d trust @Thekholm’s response as he uses the integration, I’m basing my response off other integrations. Passwords are typically always hidden.
I’m moving from HA dockers to HA supervised. I made a backup and my NEST was not working back them. Now I’m trying to setup NEST buy starting from scratch in HA and Google, following all the steps.
For some reason, my backup brought some old info from my previous HA and the integration tool already bring my OAUTH ID an secret, which is not the one I want.
How to wipe all info related to Nest only, so I can start from scratch?
I tried a brand new HA instance and integration worked flawlessly, but I want to start from my backup since I have tons of other stuff already working.
