The first version of Spook was really interesting, especially the feature to insert historic data in the database.
With the newer versions Frenck have lifted the integration to a whole new level!
If you are missing and odd feature in HA, then you should really check it out.
He seems to be updating it a lot today.
I have in the last hour updated 4 times, so maybe there is a new version again. 
And I think this part of the FAQ in the bottom of the GitHub page is the best. 
Ok, so should I use Spook?
