The preset_mode none is not a valid preset_mode: boost, comfort, eco

Hi,

Not sure if I found a bug: when I add my HVACs to a scene and call it, I get the following error message:

Logger: homeassistant.components.websocket_api.http.connection
Source: components/websocket_api/commands.py:281
Integration: Home Assistant WebSocket API (Dokumentation, Probleme)

[547233746368] The preset_mode none is not a valid preset_mode: boost, comfort, eco

I think to remember having seen this error already after the last major release when in automations calling HVACs, but it got fixed there. So maybe this was overlooked in scenes?

Hi,
I’m having the same issue (still and since long).

It seems to be a “cosmetic” issue only as everything seems to work properly, however, those log errors are somewhat annoying.

Did you ever find a solution for this?

Thanks!

No I didn’t. Still have this behavior and get the error messages, and yes: all works, it’s only annoying (and confusing normal users)

Don’t know if this is only with some brand or model, I only have one: homematic (classic, not IP)

As you have it, too - shall we raise an official bug report?

found this was raised already in Jan: Weird behavior when used in scenes · Issue #104 · dbuezas/eq3btsmart · GitHub
But is this still not implemented?

I had also raised this some time ago here: HA Log Error: The preset_mode is not a valid preset_mode · danielperna84/hahomematic · Discussion #1452 · GitHub however, it seems to be rather a bug in HA itself, not coming from a particular (HACS) integration.

So we’d better make a bug report at HA but tbh, I don’t know where the right place would be.

For the time being I think I’m gonna suppress those log errors by excluding them via configuration.yaml
