Am I the only one where the Roon integration started having problems finding all my devices? I already tried to reinstall the integration but without succes.
Anyone else having the same problem, or even better anyone with a solution? Thanks so much.
Update: this might be related to a port change on the Roon API so prpobably the HA integration needs to be updated with this.
I updated my Roon To 1.8 and the subsequent build 882 and had no issues with my integration. I’m running Roon ROCK on an Intel NUC10 connected to multi-gb switches to my streaming boxes.
I am experiencing the same issue. Both Roon and HA are on the latest versions. Have tried rebooting both several times but still nothing. Any tips on how you go this to work?
I found that the Roon integration was no longer showing up on the Extensions page in Roon, so I deleted the integration from HA and re-added it. Now my Roon endpoints are showing again.
I am still having issues. It looks to me like the component may be defaulting to port 9100 when discovery isn’t used, and a quick scan of the ports being listened to from my Roon server doesn’t show that as one of them. Manually adding a port number to the IP address entered when setting up the component does not work as it still adds :9100 to the end when attempting to establish connection to the Roon core, as shown below where I tried specifying port 9330 as I see that as an active listen port on Roon.
We need to be able to either specify a port, or have the component discover the port after we enter the IP address (not sure if that’s technically possible or not).
I opened an issue and learned my suspicion was correct. Future update from the developer will allow you to specify a port rather than default to one that may be out of date. So if you’re like me and discovery fails, this will resolve the problem for you as long as you can identify what port to use. The Roon community tends to have threads about the currently used ports to assist with this.
