There are 4 of me on the frontend

I am just wondering why there are 4 of me showing up on the frontend. Would like there to be only 1 and associated to my home assistant user account.

I am using Owntracks, I think that is the 3rd one that says Home.

The 2 that say Away do not have any Source Type.

Without copy pasting the whole thing, my config is generally just

homeassistant:

default_config:

logger:
notify:
cover:
lifx:
http:
api:
wemo:
alexa:
switch:
sensor: (version)
media_player: (custom)
tts:
group:
automation:
script:

Edit lovelace and find out the entity_id that it’s using. Track that back to the entity and verify that it’s coming from a component. If it’s not coming from a component, delete it from entity registry.

They aren’t in the entity registry is the problem:

Unless I am missing something. I am not sure how to edit lovelace though :frowning:

to edit lovelace, watch the video in the docs

Thanks, those items at the top do not seem to be editable. Even so they don’t show up in the entity registration either.

you can edit them

click in order.

Thanks, I removed them so they aren’t there anymore, they belong to older devices I had.

Now my question is can I somehow associate my Owntracks to my user so that it doesn’t show “Ray Lastname (UNK)”

Make a person, display that as the badge.

You probably don’t realize but…

It’s funny that you went to the trouble to hide your last name in most of your posts but you left it in the screenshot of your entity registry above.

Security can be completely foiled by one little thing no matter how careful you try to be.

Oh well. I don’t really care. My name is halfway evident in my username anyway.
