hi there,
i am not an expert of home assistant so… please be patient.
At my place there is a thermostat in each room, each thermostat command a group of valves that allow hot water (in winter) or cold water (in summer) to flow under the floor warming/cooling the room in which the thermostat triggers.
I would like to replace this with a thermometer in each room that sends its reading to a central device that decides which valves should be opened/closed.
I thought that home assistant could allow me to create such setup, and trying to find out what thermometer would be a good choice, this is what i would like:
-mandatory: should be able to send mqtt/something else to homeassistant
-it must be fairly cheap (the final expense will be 10x)
-better if it has some kind of display to see what it is the temperature (optional)
-the better it looks, the less complaints I will have from my wife
-i would prefer something that is not (only) battery charged, cause I would prefer something that is fire and forget, and not to have to change batteries from time to time.
I really hope you can help me find something that checks this list.
Thanks in advance
