With just some basic searching skills and a patient use of Google you could have found already the solution to your problem. Otherwise like many of us here what about learning how to solve your issue learning about some basic Arduino programming?
By the way to answer you question, the easiest approach to control a heating switch is thru the thermostat entity.
You need first to configure a switch entity, or use one you already have, and a temperature entity.
Mmm - not helpful really - obviously I wouldn’t be here if i could avoid it until such time as i can impart my solution for the benefit of others.
Of course i searched, three weeks now , and your link resolves to products I’ve already seen … it is not the range of products I seek, but rather a topical guide to setting up a thermostat AND a controller (that switches HW and CH…the latter dependent on the stat read temperature). I would have imagined this would have been asked and resolved in many examples however searching the HA forums I have yet to find any, and thus that is why i asked that question.
And of course there surely must be examples of 433mhz RF, Z-wave, Zigbee etc. Just one would be great
Edit:
forgive me, my frustration got the better of me. I was rude. Thank you for l helping…i just need to do more research and ask a few specific questions using actual devices.
sorry
Did you manage to find a 2 channel (hw+ch) device?
I’m also struggling. I currently have a proprietary one from salus it600 using their cloud server, but i would like to swap to a tuya zigbee one.
I have found a Moes “ZigBee Smart Thermostat Programmable Temperature Controller for Water/Gas Bolier Heating” …but it not say 2 channel and wiring diagram implies just one.
Have searched on google, aliexpress etc but cannot see a 2 channel. Perhaps just buy 2 x 1 channel ones ?
